
We are very sorry to announce that due to the new construction, and moving of buildings. We currently do not have the facilities to offer a 3 year old program for the 2022-2023 school year.
We hope to be able to offer one for the 2023-2024 school year once everything settles down with moving into the new high school.
We appreciate all of your interest and understanding.

Cameron Public Schools will be holding enrollment for new, and returning students grades PK-12 for the 2022-2023 school year the week of July 11-14. 8:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. daily.
If you are enrolling a new student please bring a copy of the following with you when enrolling:
Birth Certificate
Current Immunization Record
Social Security Card
CDIB Card (if applicable)
Medicaid Card (if applicable)


JH Softball girls:
Jh softball girls will play May 25, and every Wed. in June @ Panama. Times are TBD, Coach Dyer will communicate further on times as he knows.
Players will load the bus at Cameron and go to Panama on the days that they play.

8th grade diplomas will be available for pick up beginning at 8:00 tomorrow May 17th in the elementary office.
Ms.Shelby will be there from 8:00-12:00 for anyone who would like to pick up their diploma.

There will be no school tomorrow, May 5th for it was already a scheduled day off for Professional development for teachers.
There will be school Friday, May 6th for the last day of school. It will be a full school day.
There will be an awards assembly in the cafeteria for high school at 9:00 on Friday.
Elementary awards assembly will be at 10:00 in the cafeteria. Parents are welcome to attend!

SENIOR CLASS PARENTS:
Due to graduation being moved in to the cafeteria, we would like to put together a little slideshow for the class.
We are asking for 3 photos per student
1 Baby Photo, 1 Elementary Age, and 1 Senior/Current photo.
You can send the photos via Facebook messenger, email them to sjames@cameronps.org, or send them with your senior by no later than Wednesday.

Due to the current weather forecast calling for rain this week. The location and time of the Junior High and High School graduations have been changed.
Junior High (8th Grade) will be held Thursday, May 5th at 7:00 P.M. in the Cafeteria.
High School (12th Grade) will be held Friday, May 6th at 7:00 P.M. in the Cafeteria.

If anyone would be interested in an all-day 3 year old program please contact Ms.Shelby in the Elementary office to get your name added to the list of interested individuals.

Please join us in wishing the Yellowjackets luck as they travel to Glencoe this evening for the Class B Baseball Regional Tournament. The Yellowjackets were the Class B District Champs on Friday, advancing them to the regional tournament. The Yellowjackets will play Glencoe at 11:00 tomorrow. Good Luck Yellowjackets! Play your hearts out!

All Sports Banquet for High School will be tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
FCCLA/FFA Banquet will be tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

The lady Yellowjackets had a good weekend at the Battiest tournament. Defeating class 2A Wright City, class A #19 Smithville, and class 4A #10 Heavener.

JUNIOR HIGH BASEBALL:
JH baseball will play this evening right after high school at Wister. High School plays at 4.

As many of you know, the Middle School Archery team secured a spot to the National Archery Competition in Louisville Kentucky this May!
The team is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner/Silent Auction to help raise funds to get the team to Kentucky!
The Spaghetti Dinner/Silent Auction will be held Friday April 22nd in the cafeteria at the school. Silent Auction begins at 5:30. Dinner will be served from 6:00-8:00. The price of the meal will be $5 a plate. To-Go plates will be available as well.
Please come out and show your support to these kiddos as this is a HUGE accomplishment.


The Cameron Lady Yellowjackets are currently ranked among the top 10 teams this week for Class A Slow pitch softball. This is up from last week as the Lady Jackets we’re ranked #13. Keep up the good work ladies!


The JH County Softball Tournament has been pushed back to Thursday April 7th at the PARC. The lady jackets are set to play at the same time they were supposed to play yesterday.
