Thank you to Chief Standridge, Captain Kelley, Firefighter/EMT Swiontek, and Safety Officer Holton with Hogeye Fire Department for coming in today and talking with our students about the importance of fire safety. Students Pre-K-6th grade got the chance to see what a fire fighter looks like in all of their safety gear, learn fire safety tips, and explore the different emergency vehicles that Hogeye Fire Department has.
Boo Bags will be available for all students. If you do not have CashApp and wish to purchase one please send $4 in an envelope to your child’s teacher.
5th/6th Boys and Girls Basketball will play tomorrow at Leflore: they will leave school at 11:55. The girls will play at 1:30
Flu Season is here! In collaboration with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma State Department of Health there will be a flu vaccine clinic next Tuesday, October 18th. The Vaccine is free to students both Native and Non-Native.
Nurses from the Leflore Co. Health Department and the Choctaw Nation will be here at 1:00. No one under the age of 18 will be vaccinated without an adults consent. NO ONE will be vaccinated without a signed form.
Forms were sent out a few weeks ago, and are due back Monday, October 17th. If you wish for your child to receive the vaccine, but need another form. Please contact Ms. Shelby in the elementary. She will see that another form be sent home.
Due to Parent Teacher Conferences there will be no after school program tomorrow Tuesday, October 11th.

The deadline for archery shirt orders and payment has been extended until tomorrow. Please have all orders turned in to Coach Austin by tomorrow!

There will be no school tomorrow September 30th . This will allow our staff to attend a professional development course. Classes will resume Monday October 3rd at their normal time.

The elementary games against Fanshawe originally scheduled to be played here tomorrow have now been moved to be played in Poteau at the PARC. 3rd/4th baseball and softball will both play beginning at 12:00. 5th/6th baseball and softball will play shortly after around 1:00.
