Cameron Archery Camp
July 27th and 28th
8:00am - 12:00pm
Grades 5-12
Open to Cameron students only.
This event gives students a chance to meet all of the new archers, as well as Coach Austin.
Each archer should wear closed-toe shoes, girls wear your hair up or back, and all archers bring their own snacks and drinks.
You will need to register for camp ASAP.
We will need: archer’s name, grade, and parent contact info.

There is still time to apply for the Summer EBT program through the Chickasaw Nation. Every Cameron student qualifies for summer EBT. The deadline to sign up is August 4th.

REMINDER:
Pre-Enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year begins today, June 15th and will go through Thursday, June 17th from 8:00-12:00 each day. Pre-K- 6th will enroll in the elementary with Shelby, 7th-12th will enroll in the high school with Mrs. Caughern.
New Students will need to bring a copy of the following:
Birth Certificate
Shot Record
Social Security Card
CDIB card if you are Native American.

Attention Parents: If you have a student in grades K-5 that you enrolled to attend the summer school program at Pocola this year, summer school starts Monday May, 17th and will go through June 17th. Students who will need bussed from Cameron will need to be at the school before 7:30. The bus will leave Cameron at 7:30 daily. Summer school starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. You will need to be at the school no later than 3:10 p.m. to pick your student up in the afternoon.

There WILL be school this Friday May 7th. Next Friday Mat 14th is the last day of school for the 2020-2021 school year. Please remember that all devices need to be turned in by Friday May 7th.
We would also like to remind you that 8th Grade will graduate on Thursday May 13th at 7:00 p.m. and 12th Grade will Graduate on Friday May 14th at 7:00 p.m. both will be held on the baseball field.

ATTENTION PARENTS:
The last day of school will be Friday, May 14, 2021. We will begin taking up devices starting Monday, May 3, 2021. If your student has a device that has been issued to them by Cameron School it needs to be turned in no later than Friday, May 7, 2021. Failure to do so will result in a replacement fee.
These devises include: Chromebook, Chromebook Charger, iPad, iPad Charger, OneTab, OneTab Charger, and Verizon Hotspots.
The remaining elementary ball games scheduled for this year have been cancelled due to state testing.

This is just a friendly reminder that if you have a child that will be attending Pre-K or Kindergarten at Cameron School for the 2021-2022 school year you will need to make an appointment for their Pre-Enrollment and Pre-Assessment. Forms for summer school need to be turned in by next Thursday, April 8th. If you never received a form and would like for your student to attend summer school please contact the school and we can get you a form.
The JH boys game for tomorrow has been canceled. The HS boys will play Buffalo Valley at home tomorrow beginning at 4:00.

Parents of K-5th grade:
The Choctaw Nation POSSE Program is offering a educational adventure for your child this summer! Your child will receive instruction in math and reading, and will also participate in fun educational activities involving science, art and technology. Summer School will be May 17th through June 17th and will take place at Pocola School. Students from Cameron who are enrolled in summer school will be bussed from Cameron to Pocola every day, but you will also have the option of picking up your child at Pocola School.
Notes were sent home last week over this but we do have extra if you never received one. If you wish to enroll your student in the summer school program please return the forms as soon as possible.
